Standard of Care
Contractor agrees to perform all moving services in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards, including proper furniture protection, padding, wrapping, loading, and securing of items.
Mandatory Protection Requirements
All upholstered and finished furniture must be wrapped with moving pads. Shrink wrap must secure padding. Items must be properly strapped inside the truck. Furniture must be protected from direct contact with truck walls.
Damage Responsibility
If proper protection and documentation are provided, the company will review claims fairly. If required protection is not used, documentation is missing, or negligence occurs, Contractor may be held financially responsible up to the amount earned for that specific job.
