• APAP|NYC 2027 Works-in-Progress Artist Pitch Session

  • Happening at the APAP|NYC 2027 conference, the Works-in-Progress Artist Pitch Session will highlight projects from artists or companies that are still in the development stages.

    Eligible projects must meet all of the following criteria:

    • Be currently in development and expected to be ready for U.S. touring within the next 2-3 years
    • Have not yet premiered in its current performance version
    • Be a single, specific project or program

    Artists, producers, agents, and managers are invited to apply by Friday, August 28 at 11:59 p.m. (EDT). While APAP membership is not required to apply, you must become an APAP member if selected.

    The pitch session will take place at the APAP|NYC conference on Saturday, January 16, 2027 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. (EST).

If not an APAP member at the time of submission, participants will need to attain an APAP membership by October 30, 2026.

  • COVER LETTER ABOUT THE PROJECT/WORK (one page max)

    The cover letter should briefly describe how the project or work came to be developed, including key individuals involved (e.g. artists, producers, partners), thematic content or focus, target audiences and any other elements that make it unique.  Also include information about the presenters, content and format of the proposed Works-in-Progress Artist Pitch Session presentation.
