Policies & Procedures-
I. REMOVAL/MISCONDUCT
• Broadway Performing Arts reserves the right to remove a family from our program at ANY TIME without issuing a refund under the following circumstances, but not limited to:Teacher/student disrespect, physical altercations, verbal abuse, bullying, LATE payments, STUDENT CLASSROOM misbehavior, and UNCOOPERATIVEPARENT/ PARENT MISCONDUCT.
II. FEES/PAYMENTS
• PAYMENT METHODS: CREDIT/DEBIT CARD, ZELLE, CASH APP, APPLE PAY, CASH
• Your monthly fee is equivalent to a membership without a contract. The number of classes you sign up for, determines your monthly payment.
• Broadway Performing Arts Center does not offer the following: REFUNDS, roll-over payments or make-up classes.
• All Late fees of $25 are to be paid with all payments submitted after the 5th of the month.
• Students aren’t allowed to attend class until their monthly payment, along with their late fee is made.
III. REGISTRATION
• Every August, ALL students must re-register for the new dance year and pay a $25 registration fee no matter the registration date during the previous dance season
IV. CLASS TARDY/SIGNED DOCUMENTS
• Once class is over, students must be picked up within 15 minutes of the completion of their class.
• If students are 15 minutes or so late, they have missed the class stretching time. They will only be allowed to sit and view class when arriving after this time.
• Every student must have a waiver, handbook, and registration form completed by their guardian prior to taking class.
V. DRESS CODE
• All students must purchase and wear the assigned shoe for class, no student is allowed to dance barefoot or in socks.
• All students for every dance class must wear a Broadway top: t-shirt, leotard, crop top, sports bra, tank top, sweatshirt, or crewneck NO EXCEPTIONS. If a student shows up not dressed properly the parent is responsible for buying a Broadway top prior to the dancer taking class.
VI. INCLEMENT WEATHER/ HOLIDAY CLOSING
• If Henry County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, Broadway Performing Arts will also be closed. There will be no make-up lessons or pro-rating for these days.
• Broadway will be closed with no make-up classes available for the following Holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Day, Christmas, and July 4th.
VII. CLASS SCHEDULE CHANGES
• If at any time of the year your schedule changes and you need to change your class time, you must notify us and potentially join the waiting list for the class of your choice until space becomes available.
• You cannot drop a class by not attending, your class schedule is set at the beginning of the month for each month, no exceptions.
VIII. OBSERVERS
• Observers are allowed to wait in the lobby for their student to finish class. No child under the age of 16 can be left in the lobby to wait for a student without being accompanied by an adult NO EXCEPTIONS.
• We ask that observers limit their eating in the lobby to snacks and waters while waiting for their dancer to get out of their hour class.
• INSIDE VIEWING IS PROHIBITED, please share the viewing window with others
• FILMING THE ENTIRE CLASS IS PROHIBITED, THE INSTRUCTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CLOSE THE CURTAIN FOR OBSERVERS THAT ARENT COMPLIANT.
