WANT TO TEST HARRIER GEAR?
NEW GLOVED POLES INCOMING
Fancy being one of the first people to put our brand new gloved racing poles through their paces?
Our founder Kate is looking for a small team of trail runners to test them in the real world before they officially launch.
If you love getting out on the trails, enjoy sharing honest feedback, and like the idea of helping shape future Harrier gear, we'd love to hear from you.
Join Harrier athlete Sanna Duthie and Tea & Trails' Eddie Sutton in testing them out.
“With only 24 weeks to go (eek!) I am just starting to build my plan towards the Winter Spine 2027 and super excited to incorporate trying out the new Harrier glove poles into my training and put them through their paces, hiking, running, carrying - lets see what they can do and how they feel!” Eddie Sutton, Tea & Trails Podcast
We're looking for 4 more trail testers to help us rack up the miles on a sample set of our new gloved racing poles before they’re released to the masses. Here’s what you’ll be testing:
The Nerdy Stats
- From just 130g per pole (that's lighter than an apple!)
- 100% T800 premium aerospace-grade carbon fibre construction
- Harrier-designed ball-and-socket glove attachment for quick, secure pole engagement
- Ergonomic cork handles, shaped for comfort and control
- Carbide spike tips for confident grip on technical terrain
Who can apply to be a tester?
If you're happy to clock up at least 100 miles over the next six weeks, we'd love you on the team. We want these poles to be properly put through their paces, so the more rigorously adventurous trail time you can throw at them, the better.
Do I need to be experienced with poles?
We're just as happy to hear from first-time pole users as seasoned pros. The only thing we ask is that you're committed to putting the miles in. If you apply, you'll need to be confident you can cover at least 100 miles over the next six weeks, giving the poles plenty of real-world trail time and sharing your honest feedback along the way.
How will I report back to Harrier?
Throughout the testing period, we'll check in with you for honest feedback as you put the poles through their paces. We'll ask for written notes and a quick chat to hear how you found them.
Do I need to be a podium-place type runner?
Not at all. We're just looking for people who'll get out on the trails, put plenty of miles into the poles, and share honest, constructive feedback. Every bit of insight helps us refine the design and make these the best poles they can be before they launch.
Do I need to be a social media influencer!?
You will be glad to hear… Absolutely not! 😅 Your job is to get out on the trails, put the poles through their paces, and tell us exactly what you think.
That said, if you happen to snap a few cracking photos of the poles out on your adventures, we'd love to use them on our socials.
Applications close midnight Sunday 2nd August, and we aim to respond either way by the 7th August.
