2026 CLUB RECOGNITION/GRANT PROGRAM

New England Swimming provides incentives to member clubs for participating in USA Swimming’s performance based club development programs, for their performance at the National and local levels, and to encourage participation in targeted areas for improvement within the LSC

All applications must be received before 11:59 PM on August 15th, 2026. Any applications that are incomplete and do not include supporting documents where asked, will be returned and must be re-submitted before the entry deadline to be considered.

To be eligible for this program:

A member of your club must have been in attendance at the 2026 Annual HOD Meeting on April 25, 2026

Satellites are to be counted as one club.

Qualifying period: Sept 1, 2025 – August 15, 2026 (all achievements must occur between these dates in order to receive grant money).

There is a $4,000 limit per club with an $80,000 overall LSC budget. If requests amount to more than $80k, clubs will receive their award based on percentages.

IMPRT: * A transferred swimmer must be attached to your club at least 60 days from their last date of attachment before the achievement in order to receive credit for any category

This form auto-calculates the category totals. Some questions ask you to type a "1", or an amount (without the $ sign) and the total of each category will calculate your points/amounts for you.

For the below calculation of IMX/IMR:

Log into your club portal, click into the "reporting" tab and choose "IMX detail" from the drop down menu.

From there, you can use a percentage total from one of four categories: "SCY 2025-2026", "LCM 2026", "SCY 2025-2026 (IMR)", or "LCM (IMR)". (Use whichever % ends up being the HIGHEST).

*You need to export EACH report to an excel spreadsheet. Open the excel and make sure you delete duplicate athletes (athletes who age up in a season are listed twice). Make sure you are deleting the duplicate of the swimmer that does NOT have a score if only one does. Once that is complete, take the total number of swimmers with any score and divide it into the total number of swimmers on your team as listed in your dashboard portal.

NEW ENGLAND MEET PARTICIPATION

A swimmer must be attached to your club for at least 60 days before the achievement in order to receive a grant in this section.

For the below calculation of meet participation:

Log into your club portal, click into the "reporting" tab and choose "competition detail" from the drop down menu. Make sure "male, female" is listed in the drop down menu and set the age parameters to 1-99 or you can go 1-18 as well.

Run the report, take the number of swimmers on your team with two meets or more and divide that by the total number of swimmers on your team per your dashboard portal.
