Sub Training Partner Application Policy and Acknowledgement

Please review the following requirements carefully before submitting your application and paying the $150 CAD application fee.

Application Does Not Guarantee Approval

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance as a First Aid 4U Sub Training Partner. All applications are subject to review, verification, and final approval by First Aid 4U.

Payment of the application fee does not guarantee:

• Approval of the application
• A Sub Training Partner agreement
• Access to any specific territory or service area
• A minimum number of courses, participants, or referrals
• Any exclusive operating rights

Applicants must not advertise, represent themselves, or operate as a First Aid 4U Sub Training Partner unless they have received written approval and completed all required agreements and onboarding steps.

Canadian Red Cross Certification Required

Applicants must already hold valid Canadian Red Cross certifications for the courses they intend to deliver.

First Aid 4U cannot enter into a Sub Training Partner agreement with an applicant who has not completed the required Canadian Red Cross certification process.

Applicants who are not currently certified should contact First Aid 4U before submitting this application to discuss available instructor development or certification options.

Quality Assurance Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, the applicant must:

• Not currently be involved in an open Canadian Red Cross quality assurance case
• Not have been involved in a Canadian Red Cross quality assurance case within the previous two years
• Be in good standing with the Canadian Red Cross
• Not be subject to a suspension, restriction, corrective action, or limitation affecting their ability to deliver Canadian Red Cross training

First Aid 4U may verify an applicant’s certification status, standing, training history, and quality assurance history before approving the application.

Accurate and Complete Information

All information provided in the application must be complete, accurate, and truthful.

Providing false, misleading, incomplete, or outdated information may result in:

• The application being declined
• The application review being discontinued
• The loss of the application fee
• The termination of an approval or agreement issued based on that information

The applicant must have the authority to submit the application on behalf of the business or organization listed.

Documentation and Verification

First Aid 4U may request additional documentation, including:

• Proof of Canadian Red Cross certification
• Business registration information
• Insurance documentation
• Instructor identification or certification records
• Professional references
• Information about training locations, equipment, or operational capacity

Failure to provide requested information within the stated timeframe may result in the application being closed without approval.

Application Fee

The application fee covers the administrative work involved in reviewing the application, verifying eligibility, reviewing documentation, and assessing the applicant’s suitability for the Sub Training Partner program.

Applicants are responsible for confirming that they meet all eligibility requirements before submitting the application and payment.

The fee may only be refunded in the event of a confirmed duplicate payment or payment-processing error.

Approval and Ongoing Requirements

Approval is conditional upon the applicant:

• Completing all required onboarding steps
• Signing the applicable Sub Training Partner agreement
• Maintaining all required certifications
• Maintaining good standing with the Canadian Red Cross
• Following First Aid 4U policies, procedures, reporting requirements, and quality standards
• Maintaining any required insurance, equipment, facilities, and business documentation

First Aid 4U reserves the right to approve or decline an application based on operational needs, geographic coverage, program capacity, compliance history, business suitability, or other reasonable considerations.

Applicant Acknowledgement

By submitting this application, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this Sub Training Partner Application Policy.
• I meet the eligibility requirements described above.
• I am not currently involved in a Canadian Red Cross quality assurance case.
• I have not been involved in a Canadian Red Cross quality assurance case during the previous two years.
• I currently hold the required Canadian Red Cross certifications.
• The information provided in my application is complete, accurate, and truthful.
• I understand that submitting an application and paying the $150 application fee does not guarantee approval.
• I understand that the $150 application fee is non-refundable except in the case of a confirmed duplicate payment or payment-processing error.
• I understand that I may not represent myself as a First Aid 4U Sub Training Partner until I receive written approval and complete all required agreements and onboarding steps.
