  • Students Expectation:

The student must be on-time. The student must bring their physical permit to every single drive. If the student does not have their permit, or arrives 15 minutes or more late the drive will be cancelled and a cancellation fee will be applied. Students who fail to appear or cancel a driving appointment less than 24 hours in advance will be charged a cancellation fee. Students must arrive well-rested and alert for all behind-the-wheel lessons. If the instructor determines the student is too distracted, suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or is too fatigued to drive safely, the lesson will be canceled and a cancellation fee will be charged. Closed-Toe Shoes are required for Behind the Wheel (No flip-flops, sandals, slides, or bare feet). Dress appropriately as to not have too oversized or bulky clothing that may interfere with safe vehicle operation of the vehicle. Additionally students should wear shorts and/or skirts of appropriate length as to sit and move comfortably. If the instructor determines the student is not dressed appropriately to drive safely, the lesson will be canceled and a cancellation fee will be charged.

In-Class Instruction: : Hats, hoods, or sunglasses may not be worn indoors unless medically necessary. Pajamas or sleepwear are not permitted. We reserve the right to remove any student who, in the opinion of our instructors; does not comply with the school's rules and regulations, fails to cooperate, or is disruptive to the learning environment.

High School Pick-Up & Drop-Off Policy: All drives begin and end at our location unless being picked up at a participating High School which is arranged when the appointment is scheduled with our office. We will only pick-up and drop-off students when school is in session during school hours only. We will not pick-up or drop-off outside of those hours, which includes extra-curricular activities. Changes to pick-up or drop-off location must be done at least 24 hours in advance and we reserve the right to deny the request. Parents must notify the High School on the day of each drive. It is the parents responsibility to verify that the school will allow the student to be released. Instructors will wait 5-minutes beyond the scheduled drive time, then make one attempt to call the front office to notify the student we have arrived. The Instructor will wait a maximum of 15-minutes beyond the scheduled
start time, at which time the drive is canceled and a cancellation fee is applied.

Picture and Video Policy: For safety, quality assurance, and training purposes, vehicles and classrooms may be equipped with audio and/or video recording devices. These devices are the property of PROGRESSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL and may record all activities and conversations inside and outside the vehicle and in the classroom during lessons. Students are not permitted to record audio or video during instruction without prior written consent from the school. Recordings are used solely for safety review, instructor training, and resolving complaints or incidents. Recordings are stored securely and retained only as long as necessary.

By signing this Enrollment Agreement, the Student, or the Parent/Legal Guardian if the Student is under 18 years of age, authorizes PROGRESSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL to photograph, video record, and use the Student's likeness while participating in
school-related activities for advertising, marketing, educational, and promotional purposes, including on the school's website, social media pages, digital advertisements, and printed materials, without compensation. Unless otherwise authorized, PROGRESSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL will not identify the Student by more than their first name and last initial. If the Student or Parent/Legal Guardian does not wish to authorize the use of the Student's photograph, video, or likeness, written notice must be provided to PROGRESSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL prior to the Student's first scheduled class or behind-the-wheel lesson. Policy for Service Animals: PROGRESSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL permits the presence of service animals in all areas where students are allowed to participate, including classrooms and in-car instruction settings. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not considered service animals under the ADA.

Policy for Hearing Impaired: Instructors will meet (in person or virtually) with the student and/or parent/guardian before the first drive to establish the preferred communication method (e.g., American Sign Language (ASL), written notes, lip reading, text messaging on a device, or visual signals). If the student prefers ASL and an interpreter is required, the school will work with the student to arrange an interpreter in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Policy for ESL Students: If possible, the school will provide an instructor fluent in the student’s language. All students will be treated with dignity, patience, and respect regardless of language proficiency. If no reasonable accommodation ensures safe communication, the school reserves the right to delay or suspend training until such communication is possible. This is to ensure the safety of the student, instructor, and other road users, in compliance with O. A.C for driver training schools.

    to comply with this agreement.

Guarantee and Limitations: PROGRESSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL guarantee that: All instruction will be delivered by state-licensed driver training instructors.
