    Position Overview:
    The Regional Coordinator serves as the key point of contact and communication in their region, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service from Mobile TV Group (MTVG). This role bridges the gap between clients, mobile unit staff, and internal teams—managing details, resolving issues, and keeping the focus on delivering exceptional live event coverage.

    Location:  Pittsburgh or Detroit (or surrounding area)

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Regional & Operational Oversight

    • Understand and represent MTVG’s role in the market and what sets us apart.
      Familiar with client contracts, deliverables, and service expectations.
    • Maintain regular communication with staff, keeping a pulse on both logistical and personnel needs.
    • Act as the liaison between clients and MTVG’s mobile unit staff—facilitating clear communication and protecting staff time and focus during events.
    • Support and collaborate with other regional coordinators, flagging potential issues early.


    2. Scheduling & Logistics

    • Enter schedules into MTVG’s database and generate work orders for each event, covering staff, equipment, and mobile unit requirements.
    • Monitor and reconcile assignments with mobile unit bookings, including contract level, HD/4K specs, dual feeds, and sub units.
    • Coordinate with sub-vendors; confirm equipment, unit, and crew details.
    • Update schedules for changes in equipment, staffing, or mobile unit needs; notify internal and external stakeholders of late changes or potential conflicts.


    3. Equipment Coordination

    • Arrange equipment rentals with local vendors; negotiate pricing and manage logistics.
    • Schedule gear shipments to and from events; communicate tracking and delivery info to EICs, operations, venues, and accounting.
    • Coordinate gear and cable transfers between units as needed.

    4. Event Preparation & Execution

    • Review client production info and transmission notes; flag inconsistencies and ensure MTVG’s internal event details are up-to-date.
    • Gather and confirm crew lists for road events; coordinate requests, changes, and final calls for park & power, engineer arrival times, etc.
    • Facilitate communication between clients for dual feed events and update schedules accordingly.
    • Track tech needs vs. available gear and work with engineering if adjustments are needed due to maintenance or availability.
    • Maintain an accurate and current contact database for venues and vendors.
    • Relay crew, parking, and credential information to drivers, venues, and EICs.
    • Send out two-week pre-event notifications for mobile unit, crew, and spec availability.


    5. Financial & Administrative Support

    • Approve road crew invoices and venue billing invoices when required.
    • Review Tech Reports and notify clients/accounting of any billable damages.
    • Be on-site for select events each month to meet with crews, EICs, and venue personnel and ensure on-the-ground support.
    • Meet with client operations to align on upcoming events and share updates.
    • Provide emergency support and communication as needed.


    Qualifications:

    • Experience in live event production, broadcast operations, or related field.
    • Familiarity with production equipment, signal flow, and mobile unit workflows preferred.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
    • Proactive problem-solver with a detail-oriented mindset.
    • Comfortable navigating dynamic, fast-paced environments.
    • Proficient in administrative programs and general understanding of database navigation.
