• Thanks for your interest in submitting a Summit County Philanthropy Award nomination! Since 1991, The Summit Foundation has recognized over 300 local individuals and businesses who have made a positive impact in our community. We are grateful for all of your nominations, which help us identify and celebrate the people who make Summit County a better place.

    Please note: You will not be able to save your progress as you proceed through this nomination form. We recommend that you have all documents ready when you begin. The following is requested to submit a philanthropy awards nomination:

    • Name, email and phone number for your nominee(s)
    • Letter of recommendation
    • Name and contact information for two additional individuals who could provide a supporting recommendation

    2026 Philanthropy Award Dates:

    • September 25th: Deadline for Philanthropy Award Nominations
    • October 16th: All winners will be notified directly
    • November 19th: Philanthropy Awards, 5:45pm | Beaver Run Resort | Main Ballroom

    If the individual you nominated wins the award, you will be asked to take a part in a video nomination to be presented at the event on November 19th.
