I hereby consent to the participation of my child in all of Kailager 2026 supervised activities. By hitting submit and putting your initials, you agree that you are the parent or legal guardian of the above-named camper and are over the age of 18.
In case of medical emergency or general medical care, I give consent for medical treatment for the above-named camper by authorized personnel. Where the Indemnifying Party is a minor (younger than 18 years), the Indemnifying Party agrees to be and has been assisted by a parent/guardian in agreeing to this agreement, and such parent/guardian has consented to the Indemnifying Party attending the camp.
As the parent/guardian, I hereby give permission for my child to ride the transportation provided by the church. I understand that my teenager will be transported to/from the address on this form and will be under adult supervision. I further understand that in signing this form, I release and hold harmless The West Rand Lutheran Community Church and all other church-related functions. I consent for them to travel in the transportation provided.
I, the parent/guardian, understand pictures taken at the campsite of the Indemnifying Party may be used on our social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook.
Indemnity and Release of Liability:
Kailager 2026 is a teenage camp hosted by The West Rand Lutheran Community Church at a campsite near Port Edward, KwaZulu-Natal. The camp is open to teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 years.
By submitting this form, I warrant that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. I acknowledge and agree that The West Rand Lutheran Community Church, its members, officers, employees, servants, volunteers, co-workers, committees, representatives, delegates, and any persons acting on its behalf, whether remunerated or voluntary, shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or consequential loss suffered by my child or any property belonging to my child arising from or in connection with attendance at Kailager 2026, transportation to and from camp, or any camp-related activity, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
I hereby indemnify and hold harmless The West Rand Lutheran Community Church and the persons listed above against any claims, demands, actions, damages, costs, or expenses arising from my child’s participation in Kailager 2026, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This indemnity is given on behalf of myself, my dependants, heirs, and successors.
I further authorise The West Rand Lutheran Community Church and its authorised representatives to administer appropriate first aid and, where reasonably necessary, arrange medical treatment and/or hospitalisation for my child in the event of an emergency. I understand that every reasonable effort will be made to contact me or my emergency contact as soon as practicable.
Emergency Contact Information: I have provided accurate emergency contact information, including my contact number, an alternate contact person, and their contact details. In case of any emergency, I authorize the camp staff to contact me or the designated alternate contact.
POPI Act Compliance:
In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, we respect your right to privacy and the protection of your personal information. By submitting this form, you consent to The West Rand Lutheran Community Church collecting, processing, and storing your and your child’s personal information solely for the purpose of managing camp registration, logistics, communication, and health and safety during Kailager 2026. Your information will not be shared with any unauthorized third parties. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting the Church Office directly.
Camp Rules:

-No showering during quiet time
-No sleeping during quiet time
-Do not take others’ belongings
-No guys in girls’ tents
-No girls in guys’ tents
-No pairing off (no couples)
-Respect leaders
-Leaders shower from 5:00–6:00 am
-Teens shower from 6:00–7:15 am
-Check and complete your assigned duties
Camp Rules and Expectations: I have reviewed and discussed with my child/ward the rules, expectations, and code of conduct for the Church Camp. I understand that my child/ward is expected to adhere to these guidelines throughout the camp duration.
Payments:
Credit or debit card payments are preferred in advance by 30 November 2026. No payment made before this date forfeits your teenager’s spot. If registration was not made online, we cannot accept payments. Installments are allowed, but all payments must be completed by 30 November 2026. If payments are not completed by this date, we cannot guarantee availability.
I, the parent/guardian, am aware that the payment for camp is R2800 per person.
Refund Policy
I, the parent/guardian, acknowledge that there are NO REFUNDS for any payments made. This includes the non-refundable deposit of R500.
By submitting the registration, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms.
