Lyme Symptoms
Fatigue
Forgetfulness; poor short term memory
Joint pain or swelling
Tingling, numbness, burning or stabbing sensations
Disturbed sleep: too much or too little; early waking
Unexplained fever, chills, sweats, flushing (especially face and hands)
Unexplained weight change

Babesia Symptoms
Abnormal Lab values: low WBC Low platelets, mild elevation of LFT, elevated ESR or CRP
Chills
Fatigue
High fever at onset of illness (Lyme rarely is high at onset)
Night sweats (often drenching and profuse)
Severe muscle pain, especially large muscles (quads, buttock)
Neurological symptoms described as "dizzy, tipsy, spacy-ness" similar to a sensation of floating or walking off the top of a mountain onto a cloud
Headaches (migraine like, persistent, involving back of head and upper neck)
Depression
Episodes of breathlessness or "air-hunger"
Cough
Rib/intercostal pain
Decreased appetite or nausea
Spleen &/or liver enlargement
Less Common Sx: joint pain (Lyme), anxiety/panic (Bartonella), Swollen lymph glands (Bart/Lyme), non-specific sick feeling
Bartonella Symptoms
Fatigue, often with agitation (unlike Lyme exhaustion)
Low grade fevers (early am or afternoon)
Chronic feeling like you're coming down with something
"sticky/thick" Sweats in am or late afternoon or night
Headaches, frontal (often confused with sinus) or top of head pressure
Eye Symptoms, episodes of blurred vision (red eyes, dry eyes, depth perception issues, light sensitivity)
Ringing in ears, hearing problems (decreased or sometimes increased) noise sensitivity
Recurrent sore throats
Swollen glands -(neck and armpits)
Anxiety, panic, worry attacks
Agitation, irritability, rage, impulsivity, or aggression
Confusion and disorientation (seizure like in nature)
Poor sleep (difficulty falling asleep) or poor quality of sleep
Symmetrical Joint pain and stiffness (Lyme= unsymmetrical and migratory)
Muscle pain especially in the calves; twitching and cramping
Foot pain in morning, usually heel or sole of foot (often diagnosed as plantar fasciitis)
Nerve irritation, burning, vibrating, numb, shooting,
Tremors &/or muscle twitching
Heart palpitations, strange chest pains
Episodes of breathlessness
Strange, recurring rashes (look like red stretch marks, peculiar tender lumps and nodules along the sides of legs, arms, and spider veins)
GI symptoms, especially acid reflux
Shin bone pain and tenderness
HME Ehrlichia Chaffeensis
Abrupt severe symptoms similar to Lyme
Violent headaches with high fever
May impair liver function
Decreased WBC and platelets
Rash at onset with muscle pains (Joint pain less often)
Chronic headache
