Application for: 2026-2027 Enrollment Demographics Task Force (EDTF)

The Enrollment Demographics Task Force (EDTF) studies demographic trends in the Northshore service area and determines the probable impact on schools and the projected enrollment from year to year, as well as the District's ability to offer equitable programs and services to all students in all schools. The work is supported by a professional demographer and an urban planner. This year's task force will develop recommendations for school planning covering the years 2026–2032, which will include a recommendation for adjustments in school boundaries across grade levels. The task force meets on the second Thursday of the month from September to June, with potential additional meetings as needed. Additional meetings may include participation in informational community outreach meetings to obtain feedback on the options being considered by the task force. This year some meetings will be held in person and some will be held via Zoom. The first meeting will be Thursday, September 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the Support Services Center 22105 23rd Drive SE Bothell 98021. The EDTF currently has several vacancies for parent and community member positions. These parent/community member positions are voluntary, appointed by the Board of Directors, and carries a three-year commitment. There is also an opportunity for students to participate on this Task Force. Interested applicants should submit the form below by the end of day Sunday, August 30, 2026. The successful applicant will be invited to join EDTF meetings starting September 10, 2026.
