Nature of the Event
I understand that this event is a community-based creative gathering facilitated by Wildflower Expressive Arts Therapies. Activities may include creative expression, guided reflection, discussion, and other experiential exercises.
I understand that this event is not psychotherapy, counseling, mental health treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care. My participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship with Wildflower Expressive Arts Therapies or any facilitator.
Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation is entirely voluntary. I may choose to decline participation in any activity or take a break at any time. I agree to honor my own physical, emotional, and personal boundaries throughout the event.
Emotional Well-Being
I understand that creative activities, discussions, or reading themes may occasionally bring up personal thoughts, memories, or emotions. I agree to take responsibility for my own well-being during the event and to communicate my needs if I require a break or choose not to participate in a particular activity.
Health and Safety
I affirm that I am able to participate in this event and will take responsibility for my own health and well-being throughout the experience.
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Wildflower Expressive Arts Therapies to seek appropriate emergency medical assistance on my behalf if I am unable to do so myself.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
I understand that participation in this event involves ordinary risks associated with attending an in-person gathering, including but not limited to the use of art materials, movement within the event space, and interactions with other participants.
I voluntarily assume these ordinary risks and agree to release and hold harmless Wildflower Expressive Arts Therapies LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, facilitators, and volunteers from liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from my participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct as provided by applicable law.
Respectful Community Expectations
Wildflower is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants.
I agree to:
- Treat fellow participants, facilitators, and the space with kindness and respect.
- Maintain appropriate boundaries.
- Help create an environment where everyone feels safe, welcomed, and valued.
Wildflower reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise interferes with the safety or experience of others.
Cancellation Policy
I understand and agree to the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the event will receive a full refund, less any non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations the day of or after the event has begun.
- If Wildflower cancels the event, I will receive a full refund.
Acknowledgment
By submitting this registration, I acknowledge that:
- I have read and understand this Participation Agreement and Liability Waiver.
- I understand that this event is a community creative experience and not psychotherapy or mental health treatment.
- I voluntarily choose to participate.
- I understand and agree to the cancellation policy.
- The information I have provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
