AIA|DC 2026 Emerging Architect Award Nomination

The Emerging Architect Award recognizes individuals of all ages who have shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession in an early stage of their architectural career.
Eligibility:

AIA|DC members in good standing within the first ten (10) years of professional experience. Nominees need not be licensed, but must have graduated from a NAAB-Accredited degree program within the last 10 years.

Submission Requirements:
- Nomination Letter: One-page summary of the nominee’s achievements and contributions to the field.
- Supporting Materials: Not to exceed ten (10) pages that best demonstrate the nominee’s accomplishments. Proper credit for material presented and its accuracy is the responsibility of the nominator.
- Candidate Biography: Two-page maximum.
- Letters of Recommendation: No more than three (3) one-page letters of support.
