Swim Ontario invites officials from across the province to participate in our 2026 Officials Education Series, featuring two virtual learning sessions in September and the Swim Ontario Officials Seminar on Sunday, October 4, at the Blue Mountain Conference Centre.
Officials are welcome to register for any one, two, or all three sessions based on their availability and interests. Each session is a standalone opportunity, and attendance at one session is not required in order to participate in another.
The virtual sessions provide an opportunity for officials to receive important pre-season updates from the convenience of home:
Wednesday, September 23 – Competition Coordinator Clinic
Thursday, September 24 – Rules Updates, Clinics, Warm-up Procedures, Safety Marshal Roles, Swim Ontario Competition Sanction Procedures, REMS Updates, and other officiating topics.
The Sunday, October 4 Officials Seminar at Blue Mountain builds on these sessions with an interactive day of learning, discussion, and collaboration. The seminar will include the latest updates from Swimming Canada and Swim Ontario, opportunities to share ideas and best practices, and in-person Competition Coordinator clinic delivery for Ontario officials.

Attendance at all sessions is free of charge; however, advance registration is required. Please use the registration form below to indicate which session(s) you plan to attend.
For those attending the Officials Seminar at Blue Mountain, accommodation bookings are handled separately and are the responsibility of each participant. Participants wishing to stay at Blue Mountain may book directly using the official accommodation link: HERE. Meals are also at the participant's own expense and are not included with seminar registration. A light refreshment will be provided during the seminar.

Optional Saturday session
Swim Ontario invites Club Presidents, Administrators, and stakeholders to join us for an afternoon and evening of learning, collaboration, and discussion on Saturday, October 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Blue Mountain Conference Centre.
Session topics will include:
- Grassroots Development
- Regional Revitalization
- A hands-on session exploring club management tools and how to resolve conflicts through open and respectful conversations.
- A keynote presentation by a High Performance Facilitator
- Dinner
Clubs can send up to two participants at no cost to attend this valuable professional development opportunity. These people must be registered separately on the following form link HERE. If the club wants to send additional people, it will be $50 per person.
