Artist Information and Online Consent Form

You are invited to create and donate a 20 cm X 20 cm artwork exploring what Respect means to you.

People of all ages and artistic abilities are encouraged to participate. Selected artworks will become part of a collaborative community installation to be exhibited at Ballarat Central Library during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign (25 November–10 December 2026).

Artwork Requirements

· Theme: ‘Respect is…’ Artwork should align with the values and messages of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

· Artwork size: 20 cm X 20 cm supplied card or use your own paper with the same dimensions

· Blank artwork cards can be collected from Ballarat Central Library, Ballarat CASA, or WRISC up until 23 October 2026

· Digital submissions: Files in JPG or PNG format, maximum file size is 1GB, Resolution minimum 1000px to maximum 2000px, square format so it can printed on card

How to Submit 

Online: Complete the online consent form and upload your digital artwork below

In person: Complete the physical consent form and drop off artwork to:

·       Ballarat Central Library (178 Doveton St North, Ballarat Central)

·       Ballarat CASA (Cnr Vale & Edwards Streets, Sebastopol)

·       WRISC (205 Dana Street, Ballarat Central)

Submissions close: Friday 30 October 2026 at 4pm 

What Happens to My Artwork?

Selected artworks will be exhibited at Ballarat Central Library during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (25 November–10 December 2026). After the exhibition, your artwork will either be collected by you or considered a donation to become part of a collaborative piece.
