Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what personal information I collect when you book a reading, why I collect it, how I keep it safe, and the choices you have. It is written to align with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What I Collect
When you book a reading, I collect only what I need to provide the service:
The name you’d like me to use
Your email address
The questions or life areas you’d like your reading to focus on, and any background you choose to share
Your payment is handled by my payment provider — I do not see or store your card or banking details.
Why I Collect It
To prepare and deliver your personal reading
To send you your booking confirmation and your completed reading
To contact you about your specific booking if needed
To send occasional updates or a newsletter — only if you have specifically opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
How I Store and Protect It
Your information is stored securely within the trusted third-party tools I use to run this business. I take reasonable steps to keep it safe and I do not share or sell your information to anyone.
The third-party services that help me deliver your reading are:
Jotform — the secure form used to collect your booking details and questions
Payfast — my payment provider, which processes your payment securely
pCloud — the secure storage used to deliver your reading audio and spread photographs
Each of these providers has its own privacy and security measures. Your information is only handled to the extent needed to provide your reading.
How Long I Keep It
I keep your booking information only as long as needed to deliver your reading and for reasonable record-keeping afterwards. Your reading delivery link is not kept active indefinitely, so please save your audio if you’d like to keep it. You may ask me to delete your personal information at any time (see below).
Your Rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
Ask what personal information I hold about you
Ask me to correct information that is wrong
Ask me to delete your personal information
Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time

Confidentiality
The questions you share for your reading are personal, and I treat them as private. I do not share the content of your reading or your questions with anyone, and I never post a real client’s reading or spread publicly without clear, separate permission.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy from time to time as the business grows. The current version will always be the one available through my booking page.
