Grad Night 2027 Registration

Grad Night 27 will be held on the night of June 4, 2027 following the Mountainside High School (MHS) Graduation Ceremony.  Students will return to the MHS parking lot between 3-4am on the morning of June 5.  Grad Night 27 is for MHS's graduated seniors only.

 

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

 

Registration.  Students must be completely registered, with a signed waiver and payment received to attend this event. Only graduating seniors may attend. No guests allowed. Photo ID is required at check-in. No ID, no entry.

Location.  Students will be celebrating at a TOP SECRET location. The location of this event will remain top secret until students arrive at the venue.  The event will be chaperoned by venue staff, school staff, parents, and volunteers.  

Transportation.  Bus transportation will be provided between MHS and the top-secret location. All students must ride the bus to and from the venue — no private arrivals or pickups will be permitted at the event itself.

Attire and Personal Items.  Students should dress casually, in comfortable clothes for the all-night event with layers. A clear bag will be provided to each student the day before the event for a few small personal items and swimsuit. Note: All personal items will be checked at MHS prior to leaving for the top secret location.

Drugs and Alcohol.  Grad Night is a sober, alcohol- and drug-free night.  You can expect the same school rules and processes to apply to Grad Night 27. A breathalyzer and security pat-down will be conducted before entry. Any inappropriate behavior or the appearance of intoxication at check in or during the event will be disciplined by immediate removal from the bus or party. Parent/Guardian will be called to pick up their students. No re-admittance will be allowed.

Cell Phones.  To help everyone be fully present and engaged, NO cell phones are allowed on the bus or inside the venue. We recommend leaving phones at home. Any phones brought to the bus will be collected, stored safely, and returned at MHS at the end of the night. For emergencies, parents will be given a direct contact number.

This policy is in place to help with the celebration of the evening:

- Stay engaged with friends and activities
- Reduce distractions and social pressures

Early Departures.  For safety reasons, there is no early departure and no re-entry once a student has checked in. If a student becomes ill or has an emergency, the emergency contact listed on their registration form will be called to pick them up — they will not be allowed to return to the event.

Refunds.  Due to the nature of this event, no refunds will be granted under any circumstance. 

Allergies and Medication.  All allergies and medications required by a student during the event must be listed on the student’s registration forms. All labeled medications with exact instructions on administration must be checked in at arrival time and given to a designated medical/nurse volunteer. All medications will travel with the student throughout the event via nurse volunteers. 

This event is sponsored by the Mountainside Grad Night Committee and is not affiliated, supported, endorsed by the BSD.

CODE OF CONDUCT

The Grad Night Committee is committed to providing a fun and safe event. By attending, all students agree to:

No Alcohol, Tobacco, or Drugs:
Zero tolerance for alcohol, drugs, tobacco, vaping, or weapons. Violation will result in removal from the event and parental or law enforcement contact. Random breathalyzer and bag checks may occur.

Respect Others:
Treat students, venue staff, and volunteers with courtesy. Follow all instructions from staff and chaperones.

Respect Property:
No damaging property. Any damage will result in removal and parental contact.

Socially Acceptable Behavior:
No excessive rowdiness, fighting, foul language, or illegal acts.

Prohibited Items:
No bags, backpacks, purses, large items, outside food or drinks, professional photography equipment, drones, skateboards, or clothing with offensive content. Only items in the provided clear backpack will be allowed.

Graduation Eligibility:
Students must meet all MHS graduation requirements and be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Refund Policy:
No refunds will be issued.

Voluntary Participation:
This is a voluntary, parent-sponsored event and is not sponsored by MHS or BSD.

Rule Compliance:
Students agree to follow both venue and Grad Night Committee rules.

Assumption of Risk:
Students and parents acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks.

Liability Release:
Parents and students agree not to hold the Beaverton School District, the venue, contracted vendors, or the MHS 2027 Grad Night Committee liable for any claims or damages. Attendees accept full responsibility for their actions.
