2026-27 Season
PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT PRE-REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

This form DOES NOT confirm your team of acceptance into the tournament you are pre-registering for.

If your team is accepted, a confirmation/acceptance email will be sent.

The schedule will be released only after we receive all of the following:
- Full payment no later than 30 days before the tournament begins. Payment is due immediately upon receiving your acceptance email.
- Tournament Permission Number Certificate
- Official HCR Roster (TeamSnap, Excel, or other non‑HCR rosters are not accepted)
DOCUMENT SUBMISSION:

The Tournament Coordinator will send you a link to upload all required documents when they are ready to be collected.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS:
- VISA / Mastercard
- Etransfer
Until payment is received, all pre-registered teams remain on the waitlist.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Refunds provided (LESS a $500 administration fee and processing fees) up to 30 days before the tournament starts.
- No refunds within 30 days prior to the tournament starting, unless a replacement team is found.
- SMHA reserves the right to move teams up or down tiers in order to ensure fair and enjoyable competition.
TOURNAMENT FEES AND DIVISIONS FOR 26-27:
- U7/U9 Winter Break Tournament: U7 - $1500, U9 - $1600, Major and Minor
- U11 Rep Thanksgiving Tournament: $2095, TIERS 2,3,4
- U13/U15 Memorial Tournament: $2000, C Teams

Required Documents/Information Upload

These will be submitted in a separate form
All teams are required to submit the following documents/information:
1. Official HCR (Hockey Canada Registry) Roster. You will request this from your association's Registrar. DO NOT upload Teamsnap, Excel, etc rosters. They will NOT be accepted. All Affiliates MUST be carded to the team and listed on the HCR Roster. Teams who use ineligible players will be immediately disqualified from the tournament and a refund will not be offered.
2. Tournament Permission Number Certificate. You will request this from your District Branch League Manager.

Acknowledgement of Tournament Rules
By checking the box below, the Registrant accepts, on behalf of the team, (including players, rostered officials, spectators, and parents) the requirement to abide by the Code of Conduct found in the Tournament Rules, and will accept disqualification of the team, and/or removal of individuals, if broken. The registrant understands and accepts that NO REFUNDS will be offered if there are instances of breaking of the Tournament Rules that will be provided to participating teams. Tournament Rules include the terms of the facility rental agreements.
Acknowledgement of Tiering/Placement Decisions
By checking the box below, the Registrant accepts, on behalf of the team, that team placement and tiering in tournaments is done using as much info as is available to the Committee and that it is not an exact science. The team accepts that the Committee has done their best to make the most competitive brackets amongst the participating teams and that there are many factors to consider. Neither SMHA nor the Committee will accept responsibility for teams who believe they are outperforming or underperforming within their tier. If the team can be moved without negatively affecting another team, an effort will be made to do this BEFORE the tournament starts, but moves are not guaranteed. ABSOLUTELY no refunds will be offered for teams who are not satisfied with their placements, and where it was determined moves could not be made.

Acceptance of Liability for Damages
By checking the box below, and on behalf of this team, we accept financial responsibility for any physical damage to facilities that can objectively be proven to be a result of misuse by a member of my team, or the team's spectators/families. This includes but is not limited to: penalty box glass breaking upon being slammed in anger, flooding due to pucks or balls hitting sprinkler systems, aggressive use of force on any part of the facility resulting in damage, etc.
