Wind Safety & Outdoor Décor Acknowledgment

1. Wind Conditions
Wind conditions can change quickly and without warning. Even when the forecast predicts light winds, sudden gusts may occur and create unsafe conditions for outdoor décor and rental equipment. The conditions at your event location may be different from those reported by weather apps or nearby areas.

2. Safety Decisions
For the safety of everyone involved, Blush & Ivy Events reserves the sole discretion to determine whether wind conditions are safe for setup and whether equipment may remain in use during installation. Safety decisions are made based on actual conditions observed at the event location.

3. Décor Modifications
If wind conditions are determined to be unsafe, Blush & Ivy Events may modify, secure, lower, close, remove, or omit certain items. This may include umbrellas, backdrops, balloon installations, draping, welcome signs, floral installations, candles, and other lightweight décor.

4. Event Appearance
Because safety always comes first, the final appearance of an outdoor event may differ from inspiration photos or the original design plan when weather conditions require modifications.

5. After Setup
Unless on-site staffing has been purchased, Blush & Ivy Events does not remain at the event location after setup has been completed. Wind conditions may change after our departure, and our team may not be immediately available to return.

6. Client Responsibilities
For everyone's safety, clients and guests may not reopen umbrellas, reposition backdrops, move balloon installations, or alter equipment that has been secured, closed, or removed by Blush & Ivy Events.

7. Damage Responsibility
If equipment is damaged because safety instructions are ignored or equipment is moved after our team has secured it, the client may be responsible for repair or replacement costs as outlined in the rental agreement.

8. Refunds & Credits
Wind is a naturally occurring condition that is outside the control of Blush & Ivy Events. Safety-related decisions resulting in décor modifications or omissions do not automatically qualify for refunds, discounts, or credits.

9. Beach Wind Conditions
Wind conditions can vary significantly within the same beach or park. Factors such as nearby buildings, cliffs, parking lots, boardwalks, open sand, water, and natural terrain can create very different wind conditions within a short distance. As a result, wind conditions experienced at the event setup location may differ from those observed elsewhere or reported for the surrounding area.

For the safety of our clients, guests, staff, and equipment, Blush & Ivy Events will make all wind-related decisions based on the actual conditions observed at the event setup location at the time of installation.

10. Acceptance of Safety Decisions
The safety of our clients, guests, staff, and equipment is our highest priority. Wind conditions can change quickly, and Blush & Ivy Events may determine that certain décor or rental items cannot be safely installed, must remain closed, or must be removed at any time during setup.

These decisions are made solely for safety purposes and are not based on personal preference or aesthetics. For this reason, Blush & Ivy Events will not reopen, reinstall, or reposition any item once it has been determined that doing so would create an unsafe condition.

Clients and guests may not request that our team disregard or override these safety decisions, nor may they reopen, reposition, or alter any equipment after it has been secured or removed by Blush & Ivy Events.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Wind Safety & Outdoor Décor Acknowledgment. I understand that all wind-related decisions made by Blush & Ivy Events are based solely on safety and agree to comply with these policies.
