Graphic Designer Application

At Yellow Lime Creative, our vision is to make marketing fun and accessible for our community. And we’re looking for a designer to help us create fruitful and beautiful designs for our amazing clients. We intentionally keep a small team, so when you work here, you might wear a few different hats, but we promise we’ll have a good time along the way.

We're looking for a full-time (32 hours/week) Graphic Designer with a few years of experience under their belt to join our creative team. You'll be hands-on with design execution across branding, digital, and print, working closely with our strategists and copywriters to bring client projects to life.

Job Description

Title: Graphic Designer

Salary Range: $50K-62K per year (depending on experience)

Location: West Michigan (in-person 2-4 days a week)

 Creative & Design

• Execute branding, design, and marketing projects from concept to completion, with support from the team

• Bring a sharp eye for detail and consistency to every deliverable, ensuring work aligns with client brand standards and our quality standards

• Keep an eye on design trends and bring fresh ideas to the table

• Design across a range of formats, including social graphics, web assets, print collateral, and brand systems

Client Communication & Strategy

• Join client calls and check-ins to understand project needs and translate them into creative direction

• Present design work clearly and confidently, walking clients through your thinking

• Work closely with small business owners and nonprofit leaders to build confidence in marketing

Project Management & Execution

• Keep your assigned projects on time, on budget, and on brand

• Communicate with the team on project status and roadblocks you run into or questions you have

• Collaborate with our team of designers, strategists, and copywriters to bring projects across the finish line

What You'll Bring

• 2–5 years of design experience, ideally in an agency or client-services setting

• A strong portfolio showing range across branding, digital, and print

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); bonus points for Figma, Canva, Squarespace, or Webflow

• Comfort presenting your own work and taking feedback in stride

• Self-starter energy; you manage your workload and own the results
