Volunteer Hours:
Monday August 10 9 AM-Noon (or completion); This is Prep Day
Tuesday August 11 8:30 AM - 1 PM, 1:30 PM- 7 PM or 8:30 AM - 7 PM. This is the primary clothing distribution date.
Wednesday August 12 8:30 AM - 1 PM, 1:30 PM - 7 PM or 8:30 AM - 7 PM. This is the rain date for clothing distribution.
When you register, you will indicate which of these you can be available for.
Volunteer Duties:
Prep Day: will involve meeting at the HNA storage unit in Latrobe. Loading vehicles with bins of clothing. Moving them (including use of your vehicle) to the HNA campus & unloading them into the building. Heavy lifting WILL be needed.
Clothing Distribution Dates: will involve setting up/breaking down tables & bins of clothing (some heavy lifting) for veterans to peruse. During the event itself, it will involve monitoring parking, keeping clothing arranged, providing assistance.
Volunteer Dress:
Please wear Heroes Never Alone T-shirt. If you do not have one, we will provide when you arrive at the event.
Food will be provided throughout the day
