    Below are Recurring Opportunities for Volunteering:

    Caregiver Nights: volunteers will be needed to provide childcare to children of all ages (3-21+) and ability levels while the parents are in a separate area for the support group/workshop/self-care activity. 

    Approximate time commitment: 1 Thursday per month, 5 pm-8 pm 

     
    Kids Club Saturday: hands-on youth program for children under 12 years old (both with disabilities and neurotypical siblings). 

    Approximate time commitment: 1 Saturday per month,10:30 am -3:00 pm

    Below are recurring opportunities for volunteering:

    Approximate time commitment: 1 Thursday per month, 5 pm-8 pm (flexible) 

    Kids Club Saturday: hands-on youth program for children under 12 years old (both with disabilities and neurotypical siblings). 

    Approximate time commitment: 1 Saturday per month,10:30 am -3:00 pm

    Social Squad Adventures: teen program for neurodivergent youth between 12-21 years old. This has evolved into field trips into the community to work on life skills. 

    This event typically doesn't need many volunteers. 

    Approximate time commitment: 1 Saturday every other month, 11am-2pm; details are different depending on the trip. ​

     
    This event occurs every other week:​

    Social Squad: teen program for neurodivergent youth between 12-21 years old. Volunteers will help participants with social programs and recreational activities. 

    Approximate time commitment: 2 Wednesdays per month, 4:45pm-7:30pm ​

  • All volunteers — whether new or returning — are required to attend a volunteer orientation before participating in an RTB event this season.


    👉 New volunteers: You must complete an orientation before your first event.


    Orientations are held virtually, last about one hour, and are offered monthly. Please see the dates below to find a session that works best for you!

    At our orientation, we will go through paperwork and releases that your parent/guardian will need to complete. These include a media release and parental consent.

    If you commit to moving forward in the volunteer process, you will receive an email for a background check through our third party vendor. 

    If your background check comes back with conflicts, we will first talk about it with you but may decline bringing you on as a volunteer.
