POUR PLAN — PER CATEGORY

Prepare exactly 400 public tasters at 4 oz each—no more, no less

Provide 16 oz total for the judges. Cha Cha will supply judges’ glasses and shakers

Plan on approximately 15 gallons of margarita per category, including the judges’ portion.

Cup inventory is final: no extra cups will be issued. When your cups are gone, you’re done pouring—go join the party!
ENTRIES, TICKETS & SERVICE

Entry Limit: Participation is limited to 10 Traditional entries and 10 Flavored entries.

Ticket sales will be limited to the number of available tasting cups—400 per entry/category.

Collect one tasting ticket for every margarita served.

Serve only guests wearing a verified 21+ wristband.

No booth-decorating awards will be presented this year. You are still encouraged to decorate your space; however, because the final booth layout has not yet been determined, we cannot guarantee that large or elaborate displays will fit. Please bring tablecloths and any banners or signage you would like to display.

Promote your establishment! You are welcome to distribute promotional items from your booth, including coupons, tokens ect. Show off what makes your place special! 😊

VOTING

People’s Choice uses paper ballots. The in-person ballot drop opens at 1:00 PM and closes at 3:00 PM.

Judge’s Choice – 4 judges per category, silent vote creating top 3-6 to move to rubric group vote.

People’s Choice — Traditional

BEST OF THE BEST — New this year
Flavored or traditional; based on judges’ and People’s Choice results

All winners receive advertising recognition in the Dining Guide.

First and second place earn the traveling trophies, complete with legacy plaques recognizing past winners.

First, second, and third place finishers receive custom medals to keep.

TEQUILA & DISTRIBUTOR SUPPORT
You know the tequila that makes your margarita stand out, so vendors will continue selecting and supplying their own. Contact your beverage distributor or brand representative about product support or discounted pricing. If a distributor supports your entry, you are welcome to display its banner at your booth.
