The Colorado Chautauqua and Cal-Wood Education Center are excited to partner on another special community art project to help care for two Colorado treasures!
We are calling on Front Range artists to decorate birdhouses that were constructed using wood salvaged from majestic trees devastated by the Cal-Wood Fire. Celebrating our 5th year of having Birdhouses at Chautauqua!
Birdhouses will be on display at the Colorado Chautauqua National Historic Landmark, September 16 - October 29, 2026.
The public art exhibit will be free to the public. An online auction will run concurrent with the exhibit and will close on October 29th.
FREE TO APPLY. Artists will receive a $100 stipend and a share of the auction proceeds.
