All competing gymnasts are required to have a team competition leotard or singlet and a team warm-up suit. We also recommend a team backpack to help your gymnast keep track of their gear during competitions. Competition apparel sizing takes place during late July and August, and team backpacks will be available to order at that time.

Team training is held at Stumpf’s Gymnastics Center (“SGC”) located at 2187 Wehrle Drive. SGC is a separate organization from the AcroJets Gymnastics Booster Club, Inc. (“the Club”). Eligibility for the competitive teams, level placement, and recommendation for Team-Member status in the Club is determined by SGC and its USAG trained coaching staff. The Club is not qualified to make these determinations nor does it set SGC qualification guidelines or requirements. Gymnasts that train at SGC are subject to the rules and policies determined by and at the sole discretion of SGC. Contact SGC directly for information on SGC policies and training costs and fees. I understand that team training occurs at SGC, SGC is a separate organization from the AcroJets Booster Club, Inc. and that SGC has its own policies and fee schedules. Team-Member status in the Club is subject to the recommendation of SGC and its USAG trained coaching staff.

The Club utilizes USAG certified coaches to accompany its competitive teams to local and travel gymnastics meets. These coaches are reimbursed for travel and food expenses, and paid a set session fee on an independent contractor basis (contracts are negotiated annually between the Club and the independent coach). Coaching expenses vary based on meet schedules and prospective travel schedules (in a normal season, total annual costs including overhead are approximately $80,000-$100,000 for the boys and girls teams combined). All Team-Members share in these costs through an annual Team-Member fee and assessments. To help more WNY youth participate in amateur, competitive gymnastics by keeping costs reasonable, the Club runs fundraising events to raise additional funds and cover a portion of the total annual costs mentioned above. Together with the annual Team-Member fees, fundraising proceeds typically cover all projected coaching costs from the start of the gymnastics season through State Championships. Additionally, a limited amount of funds typically remain to cover a portion of coaching expenses associated with Regional and National competitions (see Assessment Fees on next slide).  Payment of the annual Team-Member fee is usually made in two installments, one in October and one in November. The total fee varies based on the travel requirements for each competitive group for a specific season, and is normally set after all meet schedules are received and approved, usually in early September.  I understand that Team-Membership in the Club requires an annual Team-Member fee payable by Venmo @acrojetsgymnastics or by check to “AcroJets Gymnastics Booster Club” and that an annual fee deposit is due no later than 10/9/26 and remaining balance (amount TBD in early September once all meet schedules have been received) due by 11/20/26. Further, I understand the deposit is refundable until the Team Commitment date on 11/19/26, and that after 11/19/26 the deposit is not refundable under any circumstance. When paid, the remaining balance is not refundable after 11/30/26. If the gymnast participates in any clinic or meet before 11/30/26 and seeks a refund on Team Fees, the refund will be prorated.

These fees apply to gymnasts that qualify for Regional and National championships, and to gymnasts who participate in all “special teams” and/or elite development opportunities and meets. Each year, there is a “base budget” set for these events and groups. Associated coaching expenses that exceed this base budget will be divided equally among participating gymnasts and, once assessed, payment of these fees is due to the Club within 30 days. Participants must notify the club of their selection for any “elite or special teams”. I understand that assessment fees are in addition to the Team-Member annual fee discussed, and, if applicable, I will be billed for the cost of coaching expenses that exceed the base budget for all higher level competitive events, such as regional and national championships and elite/regional training opportunities. Payment is due in full within 30 days of notification, or I must negotiate an alternative payment schedule with the Club.

Each gymnast is responsible for the payment of his or her individual meet registration fee for each competition he or she will attend.  These registration fees are not assessed by the Club, they are set by and at the discretion of the gym or organization that hosts each event.  Fees vary.   The Club collects registration fees from each gymnast and submits the registrations. Payment deadlines are established and a due date schedule is included with the meet schedule for each competitive group. The goal is to give families 14 days to submit a payment for a gymnastics competition, but last minute meet additions made by coaches may reduce this time frame. Registration fee payments must be received on or before each due date. Late payments cannot be accepted. Payments must be submitted via Venmo (@acrojetsgymnastics) or by a check placed in the Black Team Mailbox in the SGC foyer (one check per meet). Checks must be payable to “AcroJets Gymnastics Booster Club.” Checks written for multiple meet fees cannot be accepted. In most circumstances, registration fees are non-refundable.  I understand that the Acrojets website has registration sheets posted, and it's my duty to check to make sure that my child's registration fee has been received. Please allow 24 - 48 hours for the team president to post updates to the registration sheet.

If you choose to send a Venmo payment for meet registrations or team fee payments, enter in the notes or 'What's this for?" field: Meet name - Gymnast Name - Level and send to @acrojetsgymnastics Also, do NOT click the "turn on for purchases" button, as Venmo will then not send 100% of the money paid to Acrojets. You will be billed the difference if you mistakenly click this. One Venmo should be sent for each individual payment. Do not combine registration fees for multiple meets in a single Venmo. Multiple Venmo payments should be sent. I understand that meet registration fees must be submitted to Acrojets Booster Club by the established due date or my gymnast will not be registered for the meet. Venmos for registration fees will be returned if submitted late, submitted for the wrong amount, and/or submitted for multiple meets.

I understand that in most cases registrations fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Some meets have a scratch date that can be found on the meet tracker or TeamSnap in the notes section for the meet. Scratch requests may require documentation from a physician when due to injury. When a timely scratch is requested, an attempt will be made to secure the refund.  I understand that whether or not a return is issued is within the sole discretion of the host gym. I understand that scratches from a meet can ONLY BE REQUESTED by completing the form found on the AcroJets website or by scanning the QR Code on the bulletin board in the Stumpf's foyer AND telling the coach.  I understand that the AcroJets website has a document where I can check the status of my refund. I can access this at any time to make sure my request has been received. Only informing the coach, level rep, or board member that your gymnast needs to scratch will not result in a refund being requested. Refunds will be distributed if and when a refund is received by AcroJets from the host gym - this is often not until after the season ends in May/June.

Under NO circumstances should a parent or gymnast contact a host gym directly. Host gyms manage meets with hundreds of competing athletes and must coordinate schedules, officials, and logistics weeks in advance. Direct inquiries from parents create significant administrative strain on host facilities and reflect poorly on our team and booster club. All questions regarding meet schedules, sessions, or logistics must be directed to your child’s coach or the AcroJets Booster Club.

The Club works hard to keep participation costs reasonable so that more WNY youth may experience the benefits of competitive gymnastics.  These events are not possible without help from Team and Club members. To support our athletes and ensure our events run smoothly, we rely heavily on the support of our gym community. We ask for family involvement because volunteer help directly offsets event costs, allowing us to keep team fees as low as possible for all gymnasts. Families can support the team by earning Participation Credits throughout the season: This includes, but is not limited to volunteering at hosted meets, participating in fundraising, and assisting in event preparations. Annual Goal: The suggested number of credits per family is determined annually prior to the season based on available opportunities. Participation Credits for 2026-2027 = 6 credits per family Note: Credits are earned purely through participation time and help, have no monetary value, and do not carry over from year to year. Volunteer opportunities, project needs, and credit tracking will be posted on the AcroJets website throughout the season. Gymnasts age 15+ may volunteer to earn credits upon approval. New for the 26-27 season: Families that complete their 6 credits earn an entry into a drawing to have your gymnast’s State Championship fee covered! Each additional credit earned beyond the initial 6 gets you another entry into the raffle. I understand the importance of participating and, as part of my commitment to the Team, I agree to complete the number of participation credits as outlined above. I understand that credits are earned per season, do not accumulate, and that credits are posted on the AcroJets website. I understand that fundraising benefits everyone in the program and I will do my best to participate in fundraising throughout the season.
