Reports to: AHEPPP Board of Directors Liaison, and designated AHEPPP staff
Term: 2 years
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week

Role Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary role on the Council for Connection and Community leadership team, which includes the designated AHEPPP staff and reports directly to the AHEPPP Board of Directors
- Partner with the designated AHEPPP staff to establish the council's goals, concepts, and initiatives, including the operational, engagement, and digital strategy for its efforts
- Oversee the administrative and logistical management of the council
- Actively support council members for maximized engagement and participation
- Work with the designated AHEPPP staff to develop a communications plan and materials as needed to promote the council's work
- Prepare and submit a final report (executive summary) as directed to document decisions, activities, results of new programs, and recommendations of importance to the incoming committee, Chair, and the Board of Directors
Qualifications
- Current AHEPPP member with at least 3 years of experience in parent/family engagement or related professional development work
- Experience with collaborative leadership and facilitation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet regularly with council members and AHEPPP leadership
- Previous experience with the CCC or similar initiatives
