The first Moss Alley Mini Art Gallery is happening September 4th and we are looking for art from emerging and up and coming artists!
The theme will be “A Fire Horse Harvest”.
As society endures increasing upheaval* nature continues once more into Harvest.
We seek art that shows the power of change, the beauty of now, and the hope we still hold for the future.
(*predicted for this year by Chinese astrologists, Fire Horse is an homage to their knowledge and craft).
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
It is free to submit and participate in the Mini Art Gallery. If you would like to list your work for sale during the month of the Mini Art Gallery, we will process those sales for you at a 25% commission. You are not required to sell your work in order to be an artist in the Mini Art Gallery.
The Mini Art Gallery runs from September 4th-26th and will be held inside Moss Alley Studio, 9649 Firdale Ave., Edmonds, WA, 98020.
All artists who submit will receive an email by 8/21/2026 with the chosen artist roster.
Art can be brought in and hung by the artist, or left to be hung (positioning left to Moss Alley Staff's discretion), on 8/31, 9/1 or 9/3.
IMPORTANT: Art should be ready to hang. Our walls are brick, so please plan to use drill-free, adhesive mounting options (Command Strips, Scotch Gel Mounting Tape, poster putty, etc).
Art must be removed on 9/28, or staff will remove and store it for you for up to one week (10/5/2026). If art is unclaimed after 10/5/2026 then it will be considered abandoned property.
All artists are requested to be present opening night, September 4th for a meet and greet.
SUBMISSION DIRECTIONS
1. Fill out the form completely
2. In the Reference Document section please provide all pertinent information about your piece. We will use this to answer questions about your work when you are not in the studio.
3. Attach high quality photos of your art. There is a submission limit of 5 unique pieces per artist. Please use a separate submission form for each piece.
4. Don’t forget to hit submit!
