  • How Club Events Work (Please Read!)

  • After you join our WhatsApp group, you will see new events being posted. We provide first aid services to most major campus events, as well as hold regular monthly trainings and socials. As a general member, you are welcome to attend our monthly trainings and socials, even if you do not have a first aid certification!

     

    To be an active responder at events:

    1. You must posess a first aid certification of Intermediate First Aid and CPR-C or higher. Emergency First Responder/Emergency Medical Responder and CPR-BLS certifications are preferred. UTEFR regularly runs courses for a large discount for members, keep your eye out in the WhatsApp group if you would like to sign up for one!

    2. You must pass a skills evaluation. Skill evaluations are held on a rolling basis. You will be challenged with 1-2 scenarios with difficulties consistent with your level of training, that you will have to respond to. 

    3. You must complete the written protocol assessment. 

    4. You must attend all monthly trainings.
