    About Project

    Countering Disinformation is an Erasmus+ training course that equips youth workers with the knowledge and practical Al tools to identify, fact-check, and counter fake news and disinformation. Through non-formal learning, participants will strengthen media literacy, critical thinking, and digital competences, exchange good practices, and develop practical resources that support responsible Al use in youth work.

    Project objectives

    • Raise awareness of Al opportunities, risks, and ethical use.
    • Train youth workers in disinformation, fact-checking, and Al.
    • Exchange good practices among partner countries.
    • Explore Al tools for source verification and youth work.
    • Develop a practical handbook and educational resources.
    • Promote Erasmus+, non-formal learning, Youthpass, and the YOCOMO competence model.

     Participants` profile

    This training is for active youth workers and volunteers who work with young people and are motivated to learn how to counter disinformation using Al tools. Participants should be ready to share the results in their organisations and support innovation and digitalisation in youth work.

    Accommodation 

    •  Venue: Butterfly House Guesthouse, Sakas iela 1, Pávilosta, Latvia
    •  Participants will stay in shared rooms.
    •  Each apartment has a private kitchen and bathroom.
    • Bed linen will be provided once during the stay.
