  • MTFA MOSQUE DONATION DRIVE 2026 DETAILS:

    Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us for the MTFA Mosque Donation Drive. Please find the details of the activity below. Further instructions will be shared upon confirmation.

    Mosque Donation Drive Dates & Time
    Date: Friday, 4 September 2026

    Timings:

    • Session 1: 11:30 am - 2:00 pm
    • Session 1 & 2: 11:30 am - 3:00 pm

    Note: Volunteers are encouraged to indicate their availability to volunteer for an extended period of time to cover both Session 1 & 2. If you are not selected for a mosque that has 2 sessions, we will let you know prior to the event.

    Select your preferred mosque district across Singapore.

    Details of Event:

    • Key Tasks: Volunteers will be responsible for two primary activities:
      • Holding donation tins to collect funds.
      • Distributing MTFA informational flyers.
    • Stationing: You will be stationed either inside the mosque or within the immediate surrounding mosque premises.
    • Reporting: Volunteers will report directly to their assigned mosque.
    • Allocations: Location allocations will be confirmed and shared approximately one week prior to the donation drive date.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    • Volunteers must report directly to their assigned mosque at the scheduled time. Exact meeting points within the mosque premises will be provided upon confirmation (approx. 1 week prior).
    • Please wear modest and comfortable attire suitable for outdoor outreach. Covered shoes are recommended.
    • Please have a hearty meal before reporting, as only light refreshments will be provided on-site.
    • As this activity may involve standing and walking for a period of time, children, individuals with chronic medical conditions, and pregnant women are not encouraged to participate for safety reasons.
    • While we endeavor to accommodate your preferred mosque district, assignments may be adjusted based on operational needs.
    • Volunteers are responsible for their own transport to and from the assigned location. MTFA will not be liable for any accidents, injuries, or losses incurred during the activity.
    • Maintain a respectful demeanor at all times when engaging with congregants and residents. No photos or videos may be taken without prior approval from MTFA.
    • Volunteers under 16 years of age cannot legally hold money donation tins or act as lead fundraisers. They must be accompanied by an adult, who will carry out the actual collection.
    • Please bring your own umbrella, water bottle, and sun protection (e.g., sunscreen, cap).

    *Please note that volunteer slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
