Call for Presentations | OCTA Fall 2026

We appreciate your interest in presenting at the OCTA Fall Conference 2026, taking place October 7-9, 2026 at Embassy Suites Dublin | Upper Metro Place. We welcome proposals that highlight effective practice, share practical insight, and reflect the collective expertise of Ohio's career and technical education community. Proposals that include students as co-presenters are strongly encouraged, as student voice adds meaningful perspective and depth to conference learning.

Based on feedback from the spring conference, the fall program focuses on four tracks:

Middle School CTE / Career Connected Learning: building career awareness and CTE pathways in the middle grades.

Work-Based Learning: designing, implementing, and sustaining quality work-based learning experiences.

Artificial Intelligence: practical AI for CTE at Beginner, Intermediate, and Pro levels, plus a hands-on workshop on implementation.

General Academics: strengthening rigor and student success across programs, including Equity Grading and Satellite Programs.

Presenters are encouraged to collaborate with community partners when developing proposals. Sessions that highlight community-based partnerships, shared solutions, and collaborative impact strengthen learning and provide valuable models for replication across the state.

Proposals submitted by Ohio ACTE Chapter or Division members will receive priority consideration during the selection process.

The OCTA Fall Conference is a peer-to-peer professional learning event. Business and vendor presentations are not submitted through this form. All proposals submitted through this process must reflect peer-led practice and learning.
