Class 1 (Open) Tractor high cut plough - Trailer or mounted width of furrow not more than 8” Accessories permitted
Class 2 (Open) Tractor semi digger work. Min. furrow width12” depth 8”
Class 3 (Open) Tractor 3 or more furrow plough
Class 4 (Open novice) To plough one way.
Class 5 (Open novice) Any reversible plough
Class 6 Classic Reversible
Class 7 Multi furrow reversible.
Class 8 Vintage tractor and trailed plough to have been in production by 31st Dec 1959
Class 9 Vintage tractor with hydraulics to have been in production by 31st Dec 1959
Class 10 Classic
Class 11 Ferguson tractor and Ferguson plough TE20 series only.In production before31st December 1956
Class 12 Horse plough

Class 15 Best short-term ley – 1st or 2nd year. Grass seeds to have been short term varieties only.
Class 16 Best long-term ley – over 3 years. Grass seeds to have been of medium long-term varieties only.
Class 17 Herbal ley – best half acre
Class 18 Best half acre forage maize
Class 19 Fodder Beet – cleanest and best half acre
Class 20 Sheep Keep (consisting of two or more varieties other than swedes) - cleanest and best acre
