The Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association is excited to bring back the Spring Parade of Homes for 2027!

The 2027 Parade of Homes will be held May 22–23 and will showcase exceptional homes, communities, craftmanship, and new construction throughout Central Alabama. 

The Waters will serve as the Central Site for this year's Parade and will feature the official GMHBA Ideal Home, along with a variety of homes built by GMHBA builders. Parade entries are not limited to the Central Site, and builders and developers throughout the Central Alabama area are encouraged to participate.

Each participating home and development will be included in the Regional Marketing campaign, including targeted promotion in areas represented by Parade entries. Marketing will include the official Parade of Homes Guide, website listings, social media and digital promotion, directional signage, and community-wide advertising. 

Whether you are showcasing a new homes, promoting a community, or introducing buyers to an area they may not have explored before, the Parade of Homes provides an opportunity to put your homes and developments in front of perspective buyers throughout Central Alabama. 

We invite you to be part of the 2027 Parade of Homes and help us showcase the best of homebuilding in our region.

Development Entry

Entry Fee: $1,100

Includes:

• One model home

• Additional homes for $300 each

• Development entrance sign

• Directional signs

• Dedicated listing in the official Parade Guide & GMHBA Website

 

Single Home Entry

Entry Fee: $750

Additional homes entered by the same builder in the same development:

$500 each

Includes:

• Home featured in the official Parade Guide

• Website listing

• Floor plan

• Home description

• Directional signage

1. All entries are limited to GMHBA Builder and Developer Members in good standing.
2. Single Home Entry is $750. Additional homes entered by the same builder within the same development are $500 each.
3. Development Entry is $1,100 and includes one model home. Additional homes are $300 each.
4. Builders are not limited to the number of homes they may enter.
5. No mobile or modular homes are permitted.
6. The 2027 Parade of Homes will be held May 22–23, 2027.
7. The Waters will serve as the Central Site and feature the GMHBA Ideal Home.
8. Only official GMHBA signs may be displayed at the front of participating homes during the event.
9. Parade homes may not be occupied before or during the event.
10. Homes must remain open during all published Parade hours. A builder representative must be present while the home is open.
11. Participants may not charge admission. GMHBA reserves the right to charge admission to the Central Site and/or Ideal Home.
12. All required materials must be submitted by April 24, 2027.
13. Participants may use the Parade of Homes name and logo only with approval from GMHBA.
14. Development entries include one model home plus additional homes at $300 each.
15. All homes must be safe, complete, and suitable for public tours.
16. Developers are responsible for maintaining common areas, streets, sidewalks, and parking areas within their developments during the event.
17. GMHBA reserves the right to approve or deny any entry.
18. Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the Parade and/or ineligibility for future GMHBA events.

• Cancellations received more than thirty (30) days before the event will receive a 50% refund of the entry fee.
• Cancellations received within thirty (30) days of the event are non-refundable.
• If a home becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the builder's control, GMHBA may approve a substitute home at its discretion.

By participating in the 2027 Parade of Homes, the applicant grants GMHBA permission to photograph, film, record drone footage of, and otherwise use images of the entered home(s) for promotional purposes.

GMHBA may use builder names, company logos, renderings, floor plans, photographs, videos, home descriptions, and submitted marketing materials in the official Parade Guide, website, social media, advertising, news releases, and future promotional materials.

Applicants certify they own or have permission to use all submitted materials and release GMHBA from claims related to their authorized use.
