  • Locust Street Art is Hiring for one Part Time Program Coordinator.

     

    POSITION: Program Coordinator

    WAGE: Hourly $20/hour, average 15 hours per week


    JOB SUMMARY

    The part-time Program Coordinator is responsible for client recruitment, developing and implementing custom programs and workshops that not only foster student interest in the visual arts, but  also uses skills and techniques of artistic expression consistent with Locust Street Art’s mission and the individual client’s  guidelines. 


    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge and skills in various artistic disciplines
    • Strong communication abilities, interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • Ability to adapt to rapidly-changing circumstances
    • Knowledge of program development and administration
    • Commitment to working in nontraditional settings and with diverse populations
    • Must have current Driver’s license and be able to transport materials to offsite locations, visit offsite locations for meetings etc...
    • Ability to work comfortably with different population segments

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Research potential clients for LSA’s off-site program, using new and existing organizational and professional community contacts via cold calling and the internet 
    • Schedule information meetings with potential clients, create information packets detailing off-site programs
    • Custom designs off-site programs which includes: budgets, length of program, material list, instructor placement as well maintains all financial records associated with off-site programs
    • Work with LSA instructors to plan and implement workshops hosted by LSA
    • Oversees Offsite Instructors with the help of the Operations Manager
    • Periodically visits sites to ensure instructors safety and satisfaction, client satisfaction, and maintain off-site program quality
    • Ensures that data collection such as attendance tracking is accurate and that evaluation forms are distributed and collected accordingly
    • May instruct some programming if needed
    • Other tasks as asigned

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting, bending, standing, walking
