Bel-Red Bike Policy Ride

Celebrate Redmond’s newest bike lanes on BelRed road with Move Redmond! This bike policy ride will highlight the city’s latest bike improvements and discuss future projects that need bike improvements. Experience firsthand the difference in level of traffic stress of different kinds of bike infrastructure and the need for fully safe and connected routes. 

Gather outside of Dote Coffee at Redmond Technology Station starting at 5 PM, Ride will depart at 5:30 PM. 

This ride is 4.3 Miles, mostly downhill or flat on a variety of bike infrastructure including protected bike lanes, trails, sharrows and unprotected bike lanes. 

Ride will end at Quamaria Yemeni Coffee for desserts and discussion. Event ends at 7 PM and attendees can take light rail back to RTS or bike home from there.

 

Event Details: 

🗓️ Date: Thursday, September 10th, 2026 

📍 Starting Location: Gather outside of Dote Coffee at Redmond Technology Station

🕔 Time: 5 PM  

🚲 Bike Ride Departs : Bike ride will depart at 5:30 PM 

🏁 Ending Location: We will end the bike ride at Quamaria Yemeni Coffee 

Participants must provide their own bike and helmet and a water bottle is encouraged!

I acknowledge that I wish to voluntarily participate in a Move Redmond event. These events may include, but are not limited to, group walks, bike rides, transit trips, educational talks, or other transportation-related activities.

I understand that participation in these activities involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to: collisions with vehicles or other participants, falls, equipment failure, uneven or hazardous surfaces, and weather-related hazards. These risks could result in injury, illness, or death. I freely and knowingly assume all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen. 

Release and Indemnification
In consideration for being allowed to participate, I agree to RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNIFY Move Redmond, its employees, volunteers, board members, contractors, sponsors, and partners from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in any Move Redmond event or activity. This includes, but is not limited to, claims of negligence, personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.

 

Photo Release 

I understand that photos or videos may be taken during the event. I grant permission to Move Redmond to use my likeness, name, voice, and image in any photographs, videos, or other recordings for promotional or educational purposes, without compensation or further approval.
