  • Controls — All operating controls must, be clearly labeled, respond correctly and return to the neutral position when released, E-Stop functions properly*
  • Load Blocks & Hooks — Check for cracks, deformation, or damage to the safety latch, Capacity Stickers present*
  • Brakes — Confirm brakes functioning properly*
  • Limit switches — Test upper limit switch to ensure they stop travel at the correct points*
  • Wire rope or chain — Look for kinks, broken wires, corrosion, or unusual wear*
  • Hoist movement — Verify smooth operation with no unusual noise or hesitation*
