• KCS' 2nd Annual Korean Art Competition Judge Application Form

  • KCS is hosting its 2nd annual Korean Art Competition to provide a unique opportunity for Korean students to express their creativity through art.

    Judging Commitment & Compensation
    We are seeking dedicated judges from artistic, educational, and community leadership backgrounds to evaluate submissions based on creativity, artistic skill, impact, and relevance to the theme.

    Time Commitment
    Judges must be available to evaluate submissions in person at KCS Headquarters (203-05 32nd Ave. Bayside, NY 11361) during the judging period: Monday, October 26th to Friday, November 6th, 2026.

    Judges will need to come in person at least two (2) times, one (1) for individual judging and one (1) for group judging.

    The judging process will take approximately four (4) hours total (possibly longer) and will be scheduled based on group availability, so all judges can participate at the same time.

    All judging must be completed by Friday, November 6th, 2026, to allow time for final preparations. Attendance at the KCS Korean Art Ceremony & Showcase on Saturday, November 21st, 2026, is encouraged but not required.

    Eligibility Requirements
    Judges must be of Korean descent and reside in New York State.

    Compenstaion
    A one-time stipend of $500 will be provided for participation.

    Transportation
    This stipend is all-inclusive and does not cover transportation costs. Judges are responsible for their travel arrangements.
