  • Thank you for your interest in the Fall 2026 StartIQ Business Financial Literacy Program.

    StartIQ is an application and selection-based program with limited cohort space. Applications are reviewed based on program eligibility, business readiness, financial literacy needs, and overall readiness for the program.

    This application helps us learn more about your business and evaluate your application for the StartIQ program. Some questions also help us coordinate program services for selected participants.

    Please complete all required questions as thoroughly as possible.

    Demographic information is collected for grant reporting purposes and is reported only in aggregate. Individual responses are never identified by name or business in program or funder reports.

    Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into StartIQ. Selected applicants will be notified approximately 1-2 weeks before the program begins.

  • Program Time Commitment

  • StartIQ is a six-week program that requires participation both during and outside of scheduled class sessions.

    Classes are held virtually on Mondays from September 14 - October 19, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 p.m.

    In addition to attending class, participants are expected to work on their 12-month financial projection, complete program evaluations, and meet one-on-one with assigned business counselors.

  • Program Completion Requirements

  • Participants are expected to actively participate throughout the six-week StartIQ program and complete all program requirements.

    To successfully complete StartIQ, participants must:

    • Attend all classes, except in approved emergency situations
    • Complete pre- and post-program self-evaluations
    • Complete the post-program survey
    • Meet one-on-one with assigned business counselors
    • Submit a completed 12-month financial projection
    • Remain legally registered and in good standing
    • Complete all requirements within two weeks of the final class

  • Enrollment Fee

  • To submit your StartIQ application, a $75 enrollment fee is required. The fee helps confirm each applicant's commitment to the program and secures participation for those selected.

    StartIQ is an application and selection-based program with limited cohort space.

    • Applicants who are not selected will receive a full refund of the $75 enrollment fee.
    • Applicants who are selected will have their $75 payment applied toward their enrollment in the program.
    • The enrollment fee becomes non-refundable upon acceptance into the program, including if the participant later withdraws or does not attend.
