Be part of LA MEHKO Week, taking place November 9–15, 2026. This countywide celebration shines a spotlight on Los Angeles' incredible home-based food entrepreneurs operating as Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operations (MEHKOs). During the week, participating businesses will offer a special menu or promotion and be featured on a searchable online map, making it easy for diners to discover and support home kitchens throughout LA County.
LA MEHKO Week is presented by COOK Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting home-based food entrepreneurs. Participation is free, and the campaign is designed to help businesses reach new customers and grow their visibility through coordinated countywide marketing. The celebration begins with a kickoff event on Saturday, November 7, bringing together operators, community partners, and supporters to officially launch LA MEHKO Week.
