Thank you for your interest in serving as a MACTE Board member.
MACTE's Board of Directors brings together professional from around the world. Members' diverse perspectives from both Montessori and non-Montessori backgrounds enrich accreditation discussions and strengthen MACTE's work.
Board members serve as ambassadors for MACTE’s mission and the value of accreditation. We welcome individuals who bring some or all of the following:
- A Montessori certificate or diploma (for Montessori members)
- Experience in Montessori or higher education educator preparation, including teacher preparation, research, service, or administration or leadership
- A postsecondary degree
- Experience with accreditation
- Public advocacy or engagement focused on improving educational experiences for children and young adults
Please upload your resume/CV and a statement of interest. In your statement, share what you would bring to the Board and why you would like to serve. Submitted materials will be shared with the MACTE Board Nominating Committee.
