    Monday's and Wednesday's

    1 Day  $240 

    2 Day  $350 

    Precan- A Learn-to-skate program designed for younger skaters, minimum age 3 , with little or no previous skating experience. 30 minute lessons.

    CanSkate- Skater should be able to: get up after falling, move forward, and stop on their own.
    A dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. 45 minute lessons.

    Families may choose to stop skating after the Christmas showcase without cause and will not be charged for the full season . Fees will be $160 1 Day or $205 2 Day to cover lessons and skate Canada fees 

     

    PreStar 6:00 & STARSkate 6:45 

    Monday's and Wednesday's 

    1 Day.  $275   

    2 Day   $425   


    For skaters that have passed CanSkate and want to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate, and artistic skating.
    45 minute Group Lesson. Practice time for each group starts after their group lesson. Private/semi private lessons will be available . 

  • Fundraising & Volunteer requirements 

    To keep our fees low we require help from our families . 

    We will host a Skate-a-thon in the first half and a Raffle in the second half . There will be a minimum sales/pledges per family . If these fundraisers are not successful we will add in a third fundraiser . 

    Each family must help out at either the Christmas showcase or Carnival .

    If you choose not to volunteer you will be subject to a $200 fee . 

  • You will need to submit a volunteer deposit of $200. Either a post dated cheque or a credit card on file agreement .

    We will not cash these deposits if you fulfill your responsibilities. 

     

  • All deposits and fees must be submitted before your skater goes on the ice . NO EXCEPTIONS

  • Please identify how you will be paying your skating fees.*
  • Please identify how you will be submitting your $200 volunteer deposit.
  • Waiver of Liability and Agreement

    I agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of Skate Canada and the Claresholm Skating Club (Club). I agree that the Club and / or the Executive Committee and Coaches will not be held responsible for any accident or loss, however caused, and damages, which may arise, from such accident or loss. If a medical emergency occurs with my skater(s) and I am not available to take charge, the Coach or a Club Member may call for an ambulance or other medical assistance. Costs of ambulance or other services will be my responsibility.

  • PARENTS PLEDGE & CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PARENTS

    Claresholm Skating Club, in alignment with Skate Canada, promotes good behaviour and respect on and off the ice.

    • I will not force my child(ren) to participate if they do not enjoy skating.
    • I will encourage my child(ren) to show respect and good behaviours, on and off the ice during skating.
    • I will remind my child(ren) that skating lessons are not competitive. I will encourage myself and my skater to cheer on themselves and other skaters.
    • I will respect and show good behaviour to those around me, including Coach(es), PAs, Board Members and spectators.
    • I understand that failure to have good behaviour and respect may lead to disciplinary measures as set out by the Club.
    • I will remind myself that the Claresholm Skating Club is managed by volunteers, and therefore will be supportive of their decisions.
    • If I am unhappy due to skating for any reason, I will wait 24 hours before speaking to a coach or a board member.
    • I agree to abide by the principles of this Code of Conduct as set, and supported by the Claresholm Skating Club.
    • I also agree to abide by the rules, regulations and decisions as set out by the Claresholm Skating Club.

    • I will remember that my coach(es) and PAs are there to help me. I will accept their decisions and show them respect.
    • I understand that failure to have good behaviour and respect may lead to disciplinary measures as set out by the Club. Disciplinary actions may result in missed lessons, or a suspension from the Club.
    • I agree to abide by the principles of this Code of Conduct as set, and supported by the Claresholm Skating Club.
