ABFAS Alternative Pathway Information Sign-Up Form
ABFAS is approved by CPME to provide an alternative pathway to certification. The Alternative Pathway is intended for eligible DPMs who completed CPME-approved podiatric surgical residency training and are not currently eligible through the standard pathway. This includes DPMs who completed a CPME-approved surgical residency of less than three years or whose ABFAS Board Qualified status has expired.

Candidates must have completed a CPME-approved podiatric surgery residency to pursue ABFAS Certification in Foot Surgery and RRA Surgery through the Alternative Pathway.
