No money, just community! Barter & Banter is a free, cash-free in-person marketplace that connects Minority/Muslim women running home-based businesses (HBB) and SMEs with professionals who can offer soft skills and services in trade i.e. branding, content, business strategy, coaching, fitness, photography, and more. Inspired by the community barter movement. This is designed as one of the first structured barter-trade events for this community, combining the openness of a free market with just enough framework that first-time participants know how to actually trade. The goal: no money changes hands. Value is exchanged directly. Skill for skill, product for service, so participants can access support they might not otherwise afford, while building genuine peer relationships across the community.
