Event Details

Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Bean & Bloom Coffeehouse, 450 E Marine Way, Kodiak, Alaska. Confidence Café will now be held as one session from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Participants may arrive beginning at 11:30 a.m. to order a drink and get settled. Welcome and lunch begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by training through 4:00 p.m. Lunch is provided. Advance registration is required; this is not a drop-in event.

Age Eligibility
Confidence Café is limited to participants age 15 and older. A participant who will be under 15 on August 11, 2026, is not eligible to register.
Age 15 Registration
Confidence Café prioritizes participants ages 16 and older. Fifteen-year-old participants may be accepted if registration space is available. Registration is not confirmed until KEDC sends a confirmation.
Parent or Legal Guardian
Because the participant will be under 18 on the date of the workshop, KEDC must receive consent from a parent or legal guardian before registration can be confirmed. KEDC will email the guardian a separate consent form using the contact information provided here.

Photography Notice
Photographs will be taken throughout Confidence Café. Photographs may include participants and may be used by KEDC to document and communicate its work through its website, social media, reports, grant materials, and other organizational communications. Because photography will occur throughout the event, KEDC cannot accommodate requests to avoid being photographed.

For participants under 18, registration is not confirmed until KEDC receives the separate parent or legal guardian participation and photography consent.
