2027 Coaching & Development Panel
For 2027, the Pine Central Holy Spirit Hornets are introducing a strengthened Coaching & Development Panel designed to improve the standard of coaching, player development and pathways throughout our club.
The panel will be headed by one Coaching & Development Director, supported by a number of specialist Coordinators covering male and female development and the different age groups within our club.
Our overall philosophy is simple:
Develop our coaches so our coaches can better develop our players.
Rather than focusing solely on individual teams, the Coaching & Development Panel will work across the entire club to support, educate and develop our coaches and help create a consistent approach to player development from our youngest juniors through to senior football.
Members of the Coaching & Development Panel will be encouraged and expected, where possible, to attend coaching and development sessions, workshops and other learning opportunities provided through our pathway and development partners, including the Dolphins and Norths Devils, as well as QRL and other relevant programs.
The knowledge, ideas and resources gained through these opportunities will then be brought back to the Hornets and shared with our coaches, allowing that knowledge to flow directly through to our players.
