Event Rules & Conditions
By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Event Rules and agree to comply with them at all times.
Event Conduct
Please be respectful, professional and supportive of fellow vendors, staff and customers. Bullying, aggressive behaviour or abusive language will not be tolerated. Follow all directions provided by event staff and management.
Event Hours
- All vendors must remain fully set up and trading until the advertised event finish time.
- Early pack-down is not permitted and will result in future bookings being cancelled.
- Customers should be able to attend right up until the end of the event and still purchase food and products even if it is not busy.
- Once the event has started, no vehicles are permitted to enter, exit or move within the event area until the official finish time, unless authorised by the Event Manager. This is a safety requirement and a condition of our venue hire agreement.
- If you cannot commit to trading for the full duration of the event, please do not apply.
Social Media
We encourage all vendors to help promote the events they attend by sharing event information and our social media posts. The more we promote collectively, the more customers we attract. Stallholders with active social media accounts will be prioritised when we process applications.
Stall Requirements
- Marquee stalls require a 3m x 3m marquee
- 4 x 15kg minimum marquee weights
- Battery operated lighting for night markets (power not provided)
- Signage with business name
Food Truck Requirements
- Food Trucks are not permitted to use the event bins.
- Your generator must be tested and tagged regularly
- Do not empty waste water or fluid at the event site
- You must have adequate lighting at the front of your truck and menu
- If you can provide additional table/seating we would appreciate it
Food Permits
All food and beverage vendors must upload to this form:
- Food Business Registration Certificate
- Current Health Inspection Report
- Public Liability Insurance
Permit requirements vary by location and are outlined within each event description. Please ensure all required documents are uploaded with your application.
Stall Fees
Stall fees must be paid before the event date. Invoices are sent out monthly from our Square system and reminders are sent every 7 days.
Unpaid invoices may result in your booking being cancelled.
Fees vary between events and are listed within each event section.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted by email to marketsistersperth@gmail.com
- Cancellations more than 14 days before the event will receive a credit, less a $25 administration fee.
- Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable and the full stall fee remains payable.
- If an event is cancelled due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, stall fees will be credited to a future event.
- Vendors who cancel more than 3 bookings within 7 days of the event, or have ongoing overdue invoices will not be offered future dates and may have future bookings cancelled. Organising events takes a huge amount of admin work, please do not waste our time continuously booking in and cancelling. It is also unfair on those who are on the waitlist.
Communication
All booking enquiries, changes and cancellations must be made by EMAIL ONLY to marketsistersperth@gmail.com
Please do not send changes via facebook, instagram, text message, facebook msg, whatsapp etc. It is hard to manage so many streams of communication and I prefer to have everyone communicating in one place - EMAIL INBOX. We need to keep a record of all communication in one place as we are dealing with over 600+ stallholders.
Vendor Updates
Join our Facebook group Market Sisters Vendors for event updates, new opportunities and important vendor information.
Follow our Market Sisters Facebook page so you can share our posts
If your application is successful, your confirmed dates will be emailed to you.
Please ensure you reply to confirm the booking and add them to your calendar so you don't forget. Once we confirm your booking, it is up to you to manage your calendar to ensure you don't double book yourself. Bump in details will be emailed the week of the event and the invoices are sent out monthly.
