If Not Now 2027 Submission Form

If Not Now is PoMoArts’ 2027 open call group exhibition asking how our futures are shaped by the choices we make today. We invite artists to consider this idea through work that engages with the challenges, possibilities, and realities of our present moment. Themes may include environment, technology, identity, social responsibility, change, and other ideas that speak to the futures we envision.

We welcome submissions in all forms, including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, video, performance, and a wide range of visual and experimental practices. We encourage works that are immersive or participatory.

Key Dates:

Exhibition: January 21-March 7, 2027
Submission Deadline: Sunday, September 30, 2026, 11:59pm
Artists notified by: Friday, October 16, 2026
Artwork Drop-off: January 13, 2027, 10:30am-5:00pm
Opening Reception: Thursday, January 21, 2027 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Artwork Pickup: Tuesday, March 9th, 2027 10:30am-5:00pm

Please confirm your availability for the above key dates, particularly artwork drop-off and pick-up times. If you anticipate any scheduling conflicts, please explain below:

There is no fee to submit an application.
All artwork must be professionally presented and ready to hang or display.
AI-generated images are not eligible for submission. We ask that any use of AI tools in the planning or creation of the artwork is disclosed in the submission.
The artist is responsible for transporting the artwork to and from PoMoArts, including any costs relating to shipping and packing the artworks.
PoMoArts retains 30% of the selling price of artwork offered for sale with 70% to the artist.
Applicants must be a BC Resident.
By submitting, you are granting permission to PoMoArts to use images of artwork accepted into the exhibition for publicity purposes.
PoMoArts provides wall signage and labels, and printed and digital promotional materials, including rack cards, posters, social media assets, and newsletter features.
Exhibitions are promoted via our website, newsletter, social media, and in local print and digital media.
We appreciate all submissions, but only those selected for consideration will be contacted.
