2026-2027 Online Grant Application
Outreach Grants Committee Mission Statement: In alignment with Woodmont Christian Church’s mission of “…seeking God, sharing love, and serving others”, the Woodmont Christian Outreach Grants committee is dedicated to supporting faith-based organizations within the Middle Tennessee region. We prioritize programs that provide food, shelter, medical care, and child safety and education, reflecting Christ’s love in action. Through prayerful discernment and responsible stewardship, we aim to uplift organizations that serve the most vulnerable in out community (i.e. “the least of these”) helping them grow and sustain their impact.
Support Offered: The committee meets quarterly (Oct, Jan, Apr, Jun) to review grant requests and typically awards about 30 grants per fiscal year (July – June) ranging from $2500 to $7500 each. It could be several months between the time of submission and the quarter in which the grant is reviewed/awarded.
Eligibility: Applicants must be nonprofit [501 (c) (3)] organizations located in and serving the population of Middle Tennessee. Support is not typically provided for capital campaigns, international organizations or other churches’ outreach programs.
Instructions for New Applicants: Please fill out the form and include all documents requested (you can upload to this form) and submit your application.
Instructions for Returning Applicants: If you have previously submitted an application and included the supporting documentation at that time, we ask that you fill out and submit the application for this year along with your current fiscal year’s budget and the budget for the year for which you are requesting funding (if different from this fiscal year). If necessary, we may request additional supporting documentation.
For All Applicants: When answering the questions, please do your best to communicate:
- to what extent you are a faith-based organization
- how you address basic human needs such as food, shelter, clothing, education, or healthcare
- is the financial health of the organization sufficient enough to ensure the success of the grant
- to what extent does the program serve the residents of Middle Tennessee
- to what extent are members of Woodmont Christian Church involved in your organization
- the impact of Woodmont’s gift (i.e. it would provide x number of meals, it would provide housing for y months)
Application Deadline: Submissions must be date/time stamped no later than 5:00 PM, Friday September 25, 2026.
