2027 Broadway In Chicago IHSMTA Adjudicator Application

Thank you for your interest in being an adjudicator for the 2027 IHSMTA program! Before you complete your application, please CLICK HERE to view the adjudicator rules and expectations, and read through this document throughly. Filling out the application below confirms you have read this and will comply with its contents. Failure to adhere to these rules and guidelines may result in immediate removal from the IHSTMA Adjudicator Program. If you have any questions on this, please email ihsmta@broadwayinchicago.com before completing this application.

Applications are due by 11:59 PM Central on Friday, September 11. The IHSMTA Team will be reviewing all Adjudicator Applications this year, and will be reaching out to all adjudicator applicants by EOD Wednesday, September 16 to let them know if they have been accepted as an adjudicator.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT the application to be an IHSMTA Participating School. That application will become available at a later date. If you are planning on your school participating in the 2026/27 IHSMTA, please do not apply

Are you a first time adjudicator or returning?

Please list your qualifications to be an adjudicator for IHSMTA. (Please note, there are no degree or education requirements to be an adjudicator)

Ie: Voice Teacher- 4 years, Director- 6 productions, Former High School Director, Professional Actor, etc.

Are you affiliated with any high school in the state of Illinois (kids attend there, on staff, you used to teach there, friends with a director, alumni of school district, etc.)? If yes, please list High School name and affiliation. Ie. Former Theater Director at North Shore High School, kids currently attend Beaumont High School, Alumnus of East High School (go Wildcats!). Please note, affiliation with a high school, educator or student does not disqualify you from being an IHSMTA Adjudicator, but will prohibit you from adjudicating anywhere you have a direct connection.
